Meet Your Inspector

You’re not just buying a home inspection – you’re buying years of experience.

Hi, I’m Travis Erickson

My career in the construction trade began in 2002, when at 18 years old I joined the Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Welders Union. I completed 5 years in this trade school and then took on the position of journeyman. During this time, I performed residential plumbing, commercial plumbing, commercial welding for structural components, and multiple other trades. I began running work as a Foreman and General Foreman for the California Dept. of Corrections, nuclear power, and oil refineries. As a supervisor, I performed many inspections of commercial work, this included grading, foundations, structural components, wood framing, steel stud framing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and finish work. I then left nuclear power and oil refineries to pursue supervision and inspections for water and wastewater companies. I supervised and inspected work for multiple municipalities, including wineries. I was engaged with the public and performed inspection reporting daily. The last 6 six years of my construction career, I became a superintendent and quality control manager for all the US Military branches, building a wide range of buildings, fighter jet hangers, underground utilities, steel/concrete remodels of runways, towers, and multiple other structures. I am certified as a distribution (D1) water operator, class A commercial driver, certified welder for both TIG and stick welding, heavy equipment operator, certified heavy rigger, confined space certified, 30 hour OSHA safety certified, fall protection certified, aerial platform rigger, certified quality control manager, CPR and first aid, site safety and health officer, and a licensed certified home inspector. All certifications are up to date. I live in rural San Miguel with my wife, young son, and many farm animals.
